What we do?
Helping Hands offer a variety of services to individuals who need extra help or assistance, whether it be in the home or community.
All of our services are carried out by friendly and professional staff who truly care for individuals and enjoy making a differene to someones day.

Helping Hands provides for all age groups whether it be helping out with the school run or assisting an elderly person with their household cleaning. Our main clientele comprises of busy working households and the elderly generation. Helping Hands has found through its clients a correlation in demand of help and people over the age of 65. We understand how much of a difference it can make to assist or just be company for someone who is alone or unable to manage with daily tasks anymore, therefore we aim to keep this age group a priority in providing assistance.
Benefits of our Service
- We offer a free initial meeting or phone call (to which you prefer) with you or your family member to ensure everyone is happy with the arrangements and to meet our friendly staff.
- If you use our services on a regular basis, you, a family member or pet will build up a close relationship with regular staff member ensuring familiarity, making you feel at ease. A replacement worker will only be utilised if your regular staff member is absent for illness/annual leave. This again will be pre-approved by you.
- We offer a quotation rate system (where appropriate) to ensure our services are carried out based on what your actual requirements are rather than an estimate.
- We offer a flexible service through six days of the week (Mon-Sat) to work around you and your busy schedules.
- Our Pet Walking Service comprises of a variety of walks in rural locations making it interesting and enjoyable for your beloved pets.
- We pride ourselves on making a difference to someone’s day whether it be a deep house clean or looking after their pet, therefore always put our upmost best into a job.
- Each member of staff is fully insured and DBS checked.
- We provide our own supplies for domestic assistance/ gardening unless a client asks for their own supplies to be used.
- Our local managers are fully trained in all aspects of First Aid.
- Our staff members hold a range of qualifications and experience levels from being experienced craftsmen and cleaners, health volunteers and undergraduates. All of which, their main intention is to help people.
- We provide several services showing our mixed ability and determination to cater to most daily tasks and chores which most people are unable to do or find the time for.
